Hello!

This course will provide you with a quick introduction to teaching in the online environment. Faculty who have experienced an online course as a student have a better understanding of what the student experiences, thus helping to shape their online teaching.

Your instructors are Andrea Gravelle (Director of Online Learning) and Suzi Mazzenga (Instructional Designer).

Andrea has more than 30 years of experience as a higher education teacher and administrator including more than 15 years of experience in the online environment. Andrea has an MALS from Northwestern University and is ABD at Northeastern University.

A mother of 2 humans, one canine, and two felines, Andrea's passions include cooking and the beach. Andrea hails from Duluth, Minnesota and has lived in many areas of this nation.

Suzi's experience spans more than 20 years in education, web design, and multimedia production. She has extensive experience as a faculty member in both face-to-face and online environments and holds a BA in Media Arts from New Jersey City University and an MSIT in Instructional Design and Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University. When not at work, Suzi enjoys spending time with her son, knitting, and writing.
