Design Plus Overview

DesignPLUS was developed to help you create and style course content. DesignPLUS is comprised of rich content editor tools, the Multi-tool, and the Upload/Embed Image Tool.

Use the User Guide Navigation in the top right corner of this page to go to a specific chapter.

Enabling Design Plus

From your course, go to any assignment or page and click Edit.
Hit Shift+Alt+D Note: if your screen turns black when you hit these keys, you probably have Dark Mode app on your browser. Either disable the app or use a different browser.
You will see DesignPLUS on the right side of your screen. Click the Gear.
Enable Automatically launch Tools and Show launch bar
From now on, whenever you are in Edit mode the DesignPlus launch button will automatically appear.

Enable the Multi Tool

Now that you have enabled DesignPlus, you must enable theMulti Tool.

Go to your Course settings.
Click Navigation
Drag the MultiTool from disabled course links to enabled course links.
Click Save.
Note: DesignPLUS and the Multi Tool only needs to be enabled in one course for it to work in any course you are enrolled in. However, the Multi Tool link needs to be activated in any course where you want to use it.
